HS2’s construction partner for the West Midlands – Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) – has announced it has hundreds of new jobs to fill across its supply chain. With local job vacancies ranging from apprenticeships, to site operatives and office-based support roles, BBV is encouraging residents to step forward and consider a career in construction. BBV and its suppliers are particularly keen to hear from people who are out of work or looking to develop their skills. BBV will be delivering free construction skills training courses which provide nationally recognised accreditation from its new Skills Academy in Bordesley Green. The courses are tailored to meet everyone’s needs and cater for those with or without previous industry experience.
