Invitations to join HSRG are open to those organisations with an operational base in the UK. Membership is open to companies, organisations and academic institutions with an interest in rail and infrastructure activities.

There are four levels of membership available:

Membership application: Full – large organisation with an interest in HSR from a commercial perspective.

Membership application: Expert – relevant organisation with a significant interest in HSR, with specific expertise to offer the group.

Membership application: SME – relevant organisation with an interest in HSR from a commercial perspective, e.g. businesses in the wider HSR supply chain.

Membership application: Railway Industry Association – SME ‘bolt on’ – SME with an interest in high speed rail from a commercial perspective, e.g. businesses in the wider HSR supply chain.

Membership application: Affiliate – relevant organisation with a significant interest in HSR, but perhaps not from a commercial perspective, e.g. training or research organisation.
