Before I started my apprenticeship with BBV I was working in a part time role at Asda

What was your perception of the sector before you started your apprenticeship?

I thought it would be quite diverse, so it would be an area that would offer variation in my days, with some days onsite and others in office, which appealed to me.

What interested you in joining BBV?

I felt that is was a highly reputable company working on a large project, so I thought it would provide lots of varied opportunities.

What are the key things you’ve learnt so far in your job?

I’ve learnt about the steps involved in carrying out an inspection of the works. The workforce is quite diverse so it’s been interesting learning about the people on the project too.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

I love the variation, days differ as some days you can physically see what’s happening onsite and then others you can work in the office.

What would you like to do after completing your apprenticeship?

I would like to remain at BBV and work my way up within the company.
